This page tells you what we do with the data you give us on audit.ecommerce-today.com. It is short on purpose.
Who we are
Ecommerce Today is the data controller. Reach us at hello@ecommerce-today.com.
What we collect
- The name, email address, and optional Shopify store URL you submit on the form.
- A truncated hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent, for spam protection.
- The date and time you submitted the form.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
- To unlock the Shopify store audit for you (a signed cookie kept for up to 1 year).
- To send you the audit blueprint and occasional Shopify growth emails, if you ticked the consent box.
- To prevent abuse of the form.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing emails, and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in protecting the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you want to hear from us. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only the minimum record needed to honor that opt-out.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and database provider (Vercel) and our email-sending tool. They process the data on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data, or to stop sending you emails, at any time. Email hello@ecommerce-today.com. If you are in the EU/UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
